Millennium Scholarship
$10,000 scholarship for Nevada high school graduates with a minimum 3.25 grade point average.  Graduating classes of 2009 and later will also need 4 years of math including Algebra II and 3 years of natural science. Millennium Fact Sheet

Nevada High School Scholars Program
To be considered for the Nevada High School Scholars Program, you must:
 -Be a graduating senior in 2008 from a Nevada high school.
 -Have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher.
 -Take the ACT or SAT prior to January 1 of your senior year and score at least 25 on the    ACT or 1100 on the SAT.  (The optional essay portion is not required or included in the    minimum score.)  See your counselor for more information.

Toyota Scholarship

toyota.com/communityscholar 8th Annual Community Scholars program for high school seniors. This is a highly competitive program for high school seniors who can document community service.

The Scholarship for Military Children program

This program is designed to reach out to the military community. The scholarship program is administered by Fisher House Foundation and is funded by the manufacturers and other vendors that sell groceries and perform services in the commissary system.

The Gates Millennium Scholars
www.gmsp.org This scholarship is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and administered by the United Negro College Fund (UNCF).

The Davidson Fellows Award
www.davidson-institute.org Awards from $10,000 to $50,000
Davidson Fellows Award recognizes the achievement of young people who can demonstrate the development of their talents with a significant piece of work in one the the following submission categories: Science, Technology, Mathematics, Music, Literature, Philosophy or "Outside the Box" ( a prodigious work that is a unique combination of Science, Technology or Mathematics WITH Music, Literature or Philosophy).
