Student Log Reports           Student Log Area           Parents from within your student's True North Logic account is the weekly Student Log area whereby you and your son and daughter and access his or her weekly assignments, grades and attendance. Parents can enter minutes spent per day on homework. You can print out the weeks assignments and use the log as check list of completed assignments during the week.  View an image of the Student Log area: Click Here           Recording Minutes           Students must complete a minimum total of minutes each week in each subject area.  The 45 minutes of on-site class time in each class applies to the subject's total minutes.           English 325     Mathematics 325     Physical Science 250     World Geography 250     P.E. (3 quarters) 250     Health (1 quarter) 250     Elective 250             Total minutes per week 1650             Parents can record the minutes by clicking on the "Enter Time" button in the Studetn Log area in True North Logic.               Student Management and Progress           The Student Log area serves as a tool for you and your student to manage their time and weekly progress. We recommend you establish a routine of reviewing/managing your son or daughter's weekly academic work based on the Student Log.           When your student comes home from their session at school sit down with him/her and review the assignments that he/she has listed for the week on their Student Log. Continue to monitor their progress throughout each week. Then the day before they come to school (or that morning) have your student again show you all of their completed work. Use the log sheet to determine how much work has or has not been completed.  This is the best way to monitor and encourage their progress. Often your parental support is the difference between their completing assignments or not.  To be effective... you have to be aware of their assignments and what they have completed on a weekly and even daily basis. The Student Log is meant to be a center point for you and your student to focus on his or her academic progress.  Please use it at home, preferably on a daily basis for you to assist your student in their study efforts.                           Please be Involved.  Use the Student Log
