Involvement Checklist

|
Parents, we have given you a lot of information on a subject that is
challenging - assisting your son or daughter with their academic habits!
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
In an attempt to make the task easier, below is a Quick Checklist we hope will help integrate the efforts:

|
|
|
- Know your students classes and how to access their weekly assignments
|
|
|
|
- Know all the usernames and passwords your student has for their curriculum web sites. Write them down and keep them in a safe place easy to remember.
|
|
|
|
- Start a routine of reviewing the Student Log with your student at the beginning of their school week, taking note of the assignments due for that week.
|
|
|
|
- Continue checking your student's progress on completing their assignments throughtout the week. Doing so even daily is a good plan.
|
|
|
|
- The day before your student returns to school make a final check of his or her progress for completion of assignments. Assignments not completed for that week may or may not be "made up" later, depending on the teacher's homework policy. ALWAYS KNOW EXACTLY WHERE YOU STUDENT STANDS WITH HOMEWORK COMPLETION.

- View your student's grades weekly. Know your students performance.
|
|
|
|
- Remember you are not alone. Teachers can assist and encourage your efforts. Email us... call us... keep in contact. But most important forge a cooperative and rewarding relationship of staying close to your student regarding their academic progress.
